Strozzina, the exhibition on the Italian avant-garde: "Utopie Radicali"

From 20 October 2017 to 21 January 2018 the Strozzina spaces host Utopie Radicali, an exhibition - produced and organized by Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Fondazione CR Firenze and Observatory for Contemporary Arts - which celebrates the extraordinary Florentine creative season of the radical movement in the years Sixties and Seventies of the twentieth century.

The course, curated by Pino Brugellis, Gianni Pettena and Alberto Salvadori, brings together for the first time in a single exhibition the visionary works of groups and personalities such as 999, Archizoom, Remo Buti, Gianni Pettena, Superstudio, Ufo, Zzigurat, in a caledoscopic dialogue between design objects, videos, installations, performances and narrations capable of telling another possible world, a critical utopia that has had the merit of breaking with the status quo of those years, making Florence the center of a revolution of thought which marked the development of the arts internationally.
