From 22 September 2017 to 21 January 2018 Palazzo Strozzi hosts the third part of the trilogy dedicated to the art of the sixteenth century (Bronzino in 2010, Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino in 2014).
This path in the art of the second half of the sixteenth century is cared for by Carlo Falciani and Antonio Natali and will be set up on the noble floor of the palace.

There will be exposed sculptures, paintings and drawings by Giorgio Vasari, Giambologna, Bartolomeo Ammanati, Pontormo, Bronzino, Andrea del Sarto, Santi di Tito. The exhibition is also an opportunity to restore some important works and to establish a collaboration with institutions and places in the Florentine and Tuscan areas so that it can celebrate in all its grandeur a cultural age of exceptional artistic and intellectual fervor: from remember the Counter-Reformation of the Council of Trent and the figure of Francis I de 'Medici, one of the largest patrons of European courts.
